Awards and Prizes
Phase 1 Regional Level
Undergraduate
Participating students will submit their papers to a team of judges from the industry and Alltech. In each region Alltech will award cash prizes:
1st Place: One roundtrip airfare, accommodations and registration for Alltech's International Animal Health and Nutrition Symposium in Lexington, Kentucky, USA in May
2009 and $1,000 USD
2nd Place: $1,000 USD
3rd Place: $500 USD
Graduate
Participating students will submit their papers to a team of judges from the industry and Alltech. In each region Alltech will award cash prizes:
1st Place: One roundtrip airfare, accommodations and registration for Alltech's International Animal Health and Nutrition Symposium in Lexington, Kentucky, USA in May 2009 and $2,000 USD
2nd Place: $2,000 USD
3rd Place: $1000 USD
Phase 2 (Final) International Level
Undergraduate
The winning student from each region qualifies for the International competition to be held at Alltech’s global headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky. Students must prepare a 15-minute presentation and a poster based on their paper. The grand prize will be awarded during Alltech’s 25th Animal Health and Nutrition Industry Symposium in Lexington, Kentucky.
1st Place: $5,000 USD
Graduate
The winning student from each region qualifies for the International competition to be held at Alltech’s global headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky. Students must prepare a 15-minute presentation and a poster based on their paper. The grand prize will be awarded during Alltech’s 25th Animal Health and Nutrition Industry Symposium in Lexington, Kentucky.
